New Beginnings

It’s been an incredibly hectic year so far, with some major changes in my life. 

A move away from the grime of South London has meant I have found myself in what is colloquially known as “The Garden of England”. There’s been no time for contemplation, I’ve had to dive in with both feet, but I love the area…

First mentioned in the Doomsday Book, the market town of Tonbridge is full of history, a ruined castle, churches, (some stuffed with gargoyles) and buildings that date back to the 14th century with amazing countryside all around. I have to say I’m inspired and have started sketching some of the surrounding roof-scapes. I’m really loving returning to the basic technology of pen, paper and a couple of grey markers.
